Once you have viewed a property and terms have been agreed, we will we write to both yourself and the Landlord to confirm what has been agreed. We will then ask you to sign our terms and conditions, and we will also request a holding deposit equivalent of one weeks rent.
You (and any other adults over 18) will be asked to complete referencing forms; the Landlord will pay for the referencing. But should you withdraw from the agreed let, reasonable deductions will be made from the holding deposit to cover the fee of your referencing and loss of rent that the Landlord will have incurred.
Once the referencing process is complete, we will firm up the agreed moving in date. You will then come to the agreed office to re-sign the terms and conditions, read through and sign the Assured Shorthold Tenancy Agreement (AST). You will also need to pay all agreed monies, which will need to be cleared funds before you can take up residency.
I have been looking for property to rent recently, and have been astounded at the different levels of professional help available. Greenaway are the stand out Agents in my experiences..Emma and Simon have been so kind and actually listen to what you want/need. They are in contact regularly and will do everything they can to find the right home for me. Unbelievably I have had no contact from some Agents even after expressing a wish to view properties..Never an issue with Greenaway Simon & Emma keep me updated, whilst maintaining a friendly chat…thanks to them hand holding me through this whole experience…thank you…
